Spirit of Magic Valley Half Marathon

Event details

The Spirit of Magic Valley runs take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Twin Falls, Idaho (4155 Shoshone Falls Grade, 83301). The event offers these distances:

• Half Marathon
• 10K
• 5K
• Kids 1 Mile

The races are owned and operated by the Run It Forward Foundation, a group that supports the growth and development of young athletes. Registration includes a cotton/polyester event shirt, finish line snacks, and a unique finisher award.

Course and support

All races run along the Snake River Canyon Rim Trail and begin and end at Shoshone Falls. The course passes views of Perrine Bridge and the Evel Knievel Jump Site. The event lists six aid stations offering water and Gatorade. Half marathon aid station locations are given at the Evil Knievel Jump Site (mile 1.9 and mile 11.2), Eastland/Pole Line Trailhead (mile 3.1 and mile 10.0), Visitor Center (mile 4.3 and mile 8.8), Waterfall Bridge (mile 5.4 and mile 7.7), Washington/Federation (mile 5.9 and mile 7.2), and Perrine Rd. cul-de-sac/turnaround (mile 6.55). The 10K aid stations are listed at the Evil Knievel Jump Site (mile 1.9 and mile 4.3) and Eastland/Pole Line Trailhead (mile 3.1).

Registration and packet pickup

Early registration prices (through May 28, 2026) are: Half Marathon $75, 10K $55, 5K $45, Kids 1 Mile $20. Late registration prices through June 5, 2026 are higher. A small processing fee is added by the registration company. Packet pickup is on Friday, June 5 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Dick’s Sporting Goods, 1939 Fillmore St, Twin Falls.
