About the race
Splash of Color 5K is a family-friendly running and walking event in Evansville, Indiana, at Garvin Park (1600 N Main St). It offers a 5K Run/Walk and a 1-Mile Family Walk. The atmosphere is festive and color-filled: participants are splashed with non-toxic, biodegradable color dust, with a side option to avoid color by staying off to the side.
The 5K course is an out-and-back that starts and finishes near Garvin Park’s fountain, traveling around a lake and along the Pigeon Creek Greenway, then returning via similar routes, with a 1-Mile turnaround near the Greenway.
