Spring Forward 5K & 10K : overview
The Spring Forward event takes place on Sunday, April 19, 2026 in Morris Plains, NJ at Morris Central Park (North Cottage St). The event offers two race distances:
- 5K : one loop
- 10K : two 5K loops
The course uses mixed terrain including grass, pressed gravel, dirt, and some hills. GPS coordinates for the park are 40.834866, -74.503507. The event benefits the Morris Park Alliance.
Logistics and amenities
Early packet pick-up is listed at Mario’s Brickoven & Restaurant, 196 Speedwell Ave, Morris Plains; race day pick-up begins at 8:15 AM. Finishers receive a medal and a race shirt, and there are post-race festivities. Awards are given to the top five male and top five female overall in both the 5K and 10K. A parking map notes use of the North Cottage Street entrance. Entry fees shown are $30 for the 5K and $36 for the 10K. Sponsors named include local and regional organizations.
