Event overview
The Square and Compass Run is the 3rd annual 5 km (3.1 mile) run/walk held in Winneconne, Wisconsin on October 4, 2025. The event is organized by the Winneconne Masonic Lodge and the proceeds are dedicated to educational scholarships for youth in the Winneconne Community School District. Race categories include a 5K Run/Walk.
Course and race-day services
The route begins at Marble Park and guides participants through downtown Winneconne, passing landmarks such as the Masonic Lodge, local churches, schools, the library and the Historical Railroad Depot. Race packets and shirts are available for pick-up on race morning. The entry fee includes a collectible unisex race tech shirt, a finisher medal, food and beverages. A post-race awards ceremony is held under the large pavilion at Marble Park and features music, food and raffles.
Previous race information and results are available for past years. Past participants have noted on-site amenities such as indoor toilets, pavilion space, parking, a water stop about halfway on the course, timed results and sizable finisher medals.
