Squatchy Onesie Fest “5K-Marathon”
The Squatchy Onesie Fest 5K is a fun and unique trail running event held at Ramapo Valley County Reservation in Mahwah, New Jersey. Participants complete a flat, scenic 1.6-mile "lollipop" loop around Scarlet Oak Pond twice to finish the 5K. The course features mostly wide gravel and dirt trails with a short single-track section, making it beginner-friendly and suitable for road shoes.
The event encourages runners to wear onesies, adding a playful atmosphere to this winter race. Amenities include aid stations, handcrafted finisher medals, and awards for top finishers wearing onesies. The race supports the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference, emphasizing trail preservation and community spirit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
