SRC Presents: a Backyard Ultra

SRC Presents: A Backyard Ultra takes place at Blydenburgh County Park in Hauppauge, NY on December 13–14, 2025. The event features two races: A Backyard Ultra, a true ultramarathon where runners must complete a 4.167-mile loop within an hour, repeatedly until only one runner remains; and The 1 Lapper. The daytime course is marked with orange flags and the night course with neon yellow flags, including a mix of road and trail segments with modest elevation gains.

Safety gear such as headlamps, reflective vests, and blinking lights is required at night. An on-site aid station and NeverSecond fueling support are provided. Proceeds benefit the Long Island Greenbelt Trail Conference. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
