SSGT Taylor Hoover Memorial 5K

The SSGT Taylor Hoover Memorial 5K & Community Event is held annually at Worthington Park in West Memphis, Arkansas. This 5K run/walk honors Staff Sergeant Taylor Hoover, who was killed in action in Kabul, Afghanistan. The event features both an in-person 5K and a virtual run/walk challenge, welcoming participants of all ages.

The race atmosphere is festive, with live music, food trucks, merchandise vendors, inflatables for kids, and special military exhibits including the Bennett Family Trailer "BIG RIG" Memorial. After the race, a red, white, and blue color powder celebration is held for all ages. Proceeds support scholarships and veteran aid programs.
