St James Rail Run

Event details

The St James Rail Run is an annual run/walk held in conjunction with St. James Rail Road Days. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2026, and the event is held rain or shine at St. James Salutators Railroad Museum Park in St. James, Minnesota. Distances offered include:

• 1/2 mile (Kids)
• 1 mile
• 4 mile walk
• 4 mile run

Registration opens February 1, 2026. Teams of five or more receive a $5 discount per racer. A program called "Run for Those That Can't" allows participants to sign up to run on behalf of someone else; a display is available to add a loved one’s name.

T-shirts from the event are available for pickup at Pioneer Bank in St. James (123 Armstrong Blvd. S.) during lobby hours.
