The St. Jerome Fancy Farm Picnic is an annual 5K road race held in Fancy Farm, KY (23 KY-339 South, Fancy Farm, KY 42039). The event fee is $25. Registration opens May 4, 2026. All pre-registered runners are guaranteed a 5K T-shirt; T-shirts may be available to late registrants while supplies last.
Course and logistics
The course is an out-and-back that includes a long hill shortly after the turnaround. The race provides multiple water stations, fresh fruit, and cold sports drinks along the route. Organizers hand out T-shirts and race bibs at the registration desk on race day rather than using a packet pickup; there are separate lines for pre-registered and race-day registrants. One nearby road (Hwy 339 North of Fancy Farm) is closed in the evening for a one-mile event, so some drivers will need to approach Fancy Farm via Hwy 80 from Mayfield or Carlisle County.
