The 10th Annual St. Louis Cougar Chase is a community running event on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the St. Louis Catholic School Track, 2114 St. Joseph Blvd., Austin, TX 78757. The event includes timed and untimed running options and is paired with a Breakfast with Santa fundraiser.
Distances and runs
- 5K - Run/walk with professional timing and prizes.
- 1 Mile - Single-loop run/walk for children age 8 and under.
- 400 m - Untimed kids run on the school track, open to age 8 and under.
Logistics and additional information
Entry fees are listed for each event; the 5K fee is $15, the 1-mile fee is $10, and the 400 m kids run is free. Breakfast with Santa options are offered, including a single ticket and a family pack; the breakfast has a separate fee. Packet pickup and shirts are distributed to school families the Friday before the race, and morning-of packet pickup is also available. Awards include overall male and female prizes and age or school grade based prizes. Funds raised have supported school athletics projects such as a shot put and discus pad with cage and a high jump landing pad, and proceeds will further support Cougar Athletics.
