About the race
The St. Paddy's 5 Mile Race, also known as the Patrick E. Coyne Memorial Race, is held annually in Freehold, New Jersey, hosted by the Freehold Area Running Club.
The 35th edition takes place at Michael J. Tighe Park, featuring a scenic 5-mile course within the park's green space. Runners cross the Manasquan River via a country bridge, offering a picturesque route.
The event fosters a festive atmosphere with refreshments including beer and hot dogs. All pre-registrants receive T-shirts, and finishers are awarded medals.
