St. Paddy's Day Run
The St. Paddy’s Day Run in Tacoma, organized by the Tacoma City Marathon Association, offers a festive running event featuring a half marathon, 10K, and 5K distances. The half marathon is a scenic out-and-back course starting downtown, running along the waterfront, including the Ruston Way Path, Point Ruston Waterwalk, and Tacoma’s Dune Peninsula Park, with a notable climb over the Wilson Way Bridge.
The 10K follows part of the half marathon route, while the 5K is a family-friendly 3.1-mile run/walk. All finishers receive commemorative medals. The event supports the Humane Society of Tacoma & Pierce County and provides amenities like tech shirts, aid stations, and post-race refreshments.
