St. Pat's 5k (Race 2 - Tour de Patrick) takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Providence, RI. The main event is a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk. The schedule also includes a kids race for ages 12 and under and a virtual 5K option.

The kids race is open to children 12 and under and parents may run with their children. Walkers are allowed in the 5K. Pets are not permitted and strollers must start at the back for safety. After the event there is an on-site gathering at Patrick’s Pub, 381 Smith Street, with live Irish music and a Guinness team on hand offering personalized pints; a cash bar is available and ID is required.

Location for the event is the RI Statehouse at 82 Smith Street, Providence, RI. Entry fees for the 5K and kids race vary by registration period; the 5K fees listed include tiered prices that increase after December 31, 2025 and other dates. Online registration closes on March 13, 2026. The race is part of the Tour de Patrick, a three-race series across Rhode Island; participants who complete all three earn custom socks and a Tour de Patrick finisher's medal, with medals collected at the Shamrock Shuffle finish on March 29. Individual awards are given by age groups and are scored on gun time. A team award is given to the top overall team based on the top three chip times; there is no limit on team size and teams enter online. No refunds.
