Starr Spangled 5K Race & Walk

The Starr Spangled 5K Race & Walk is a long-standing Toledo area tradition held annually on July 4th in Oregon, Ohio. The 32nd edition features a flat, fast, and accurately measured 5K road course starting and finishing at Starr Elementary School. Participants enjoy a single water station along the out-and-back route.

Awards include gift certificates for overall and age group winners, with special prizes for every 25th finisher. Pre-registered runners receive a choice of a triblend t-shirt or beach towel, and refreshments are provided at the finish.
