Course and purpose
The running courses and cycling route use a mix of paved and gravel/dirt roads. The Columbus Civic Center on Sheep Dip Road serves as the start and finish location for the 5K, 10K, and cycling events. The 5K and 10K courses continue north on Sheep Dip Road; walkers are permitted on the 5K. The bike route begins near the Columbus/Molt Road by the old highway, follows to Sheep Dip Road, turns left, and finishes at the civic center for a total of 7 miles. Prizes are given at the end of the race.
