StMU 5K

StMU 5K for the Neighborhood is a community running event in San Antonio, Texas, hosted by St. Mary’s University. The 5K course runs on campus (One Camino Santa Maria) in the St.

Mary’s Gateway District, with the route available on MapMyRun. It offers multiple entries: neighborhood 5K participant, student, child, and a virtual option. Proceeds benefit Holy Rosary Catholic Church, run by Marianist priests and brothers, serving nearby neighborhoods.

Since 2014, the race helps fund outreach and quality of life improvements around the university. A race-day crew called the Restin’ Rattlers adds a friendly, volunteer atmosphere.
