About the race
The STOP Domestic Violence Abuse 5K is a family-friendly 5K run/walk in Atlanta’s Shirley Clarke Franklin Park (formerly Westside Park), located at 1600 Johnson Rd NW. This USATF-certified, paved 5K course winds through Westside Park and serves as a qualifier for the AJC Peachtree Road Race. Proceeds benefit Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) and Alma Domestic Violence Foundation (ADVF).
Sponsored by Fulton County and city partners, the event invites runners, joggers, and walkers of all ages to raise awareness during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Finishers receive a T-shirt, medal, and free photos; RFID timing provides live results. Pets and strollers are not allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
