Storm the Farm : Winona, MN
Storm the Farm is a trail running event at Briggs Outdoors in Winona, Minnesota on July 18, 2026. It is part of The Storm Trail Race Series and is ATRA Youth Trail Race certified; participants under 19 receive a 15% discount. The event offers packet pickup and Friday night camping on site for a $10 fee; tents and small teardrop campers are allowed with no hookups.
Course, distances and race details
The course uses private land on the bluffs of Southeast Minnesota's Driftless Region and features steep climbs, open prairies, shaded single-track trails, and crossings of Cedar Creek. The 10k+ loop includes two bluff climbs and a scenic valley; multiple loops of the 10k+ course create the longer distances. The 5k uses one bluff climb and a mix of double- and single-track valleys.

Aid stations: the 5k route passes one aid station twice; the 10k loop has three aid stations with snacks, water, Gu, and orange-flavored Tailwind. The event is cupless; participants must bring a reusable cup or bottle. Registration is required before race day; there are no cutoffs for participants. Thirty percent of each registration fee and donations collected during registration will be donated to Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center for youth mental health programs.
