Storm the Lake Sprint Triathlon

The Storm the Lake Sprint Triathlon & Duathlon is an annual charity event held at King’s Pointe Resort and Waterpark in Storm Lake, Iowa. Celebrating its 13th year, the race features a sprint triathlon with a 600-meter swim in the protected bay, a 12-mile bike ride around the lake, and a 5K run along a scenic, flower-lined path. The duathlon includes a 1-mile run, 12-mile bike, and 5K run on the same course.

The event is well-supported by volunteers and offers a beautiful venue considered one of Iowa’s best for triathlons. Proceeds benefit youth projects through the High Noon Kiwanis. All participants receive medals and race shirts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
