Event overview
Stride United is a community 5K run/walk held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Burlington, North Carolina. The event location is 4242 R Dean Coleman Rd (Cedarock area). Registration fee is $20; children 13 and under may participate for free. Course and logistics
The course is 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) on moderate terrain. The route runs mainly on a dirt trail with a brief paved section and includes roots, small rocks, and uneven ground. Medical staff will be on standby. The event is organized as a fun run/walk, so official times are not recorded unless a participant requests a racing bib and time recording. There will be a snacks and water station near check-in, and an Italian ice vendor (Sunset Slush) on site. Spectator access points are available along the trail. Proceeds from the event benefit the United Way of Alamance County, with a focus on housing stability.
