Stumpy's 5k Run

Stumpy's 5k Run and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is an annual event held in Shirland, Illinois, starting and finishing at Shirland Grade School. The 5K race features an out-and-back course through scenic downtown Shirland and the rolling countryside hills, including a turnaround point near "Stumpy." The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk also begins at the school and follows a route through downtown Shirland. This event offers a festive atmosphere to kick off the 4th of July celebrations.

Participants receive a limited edition T-shirt, finisher medal, and chip timing for the 5K. Proceeds support technology upgrades at Shirland Grade School. Water stations and packet pickup are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
