Summer MoCo 10k
The Summer MoCo 10k is a scenic running event held at Martin Luther King Jr. Recreational Park in Silver Spring, Maryland. The course is a paved route that includes the Paint Branch Trail and features some rolling hills, offering a pleasant trail experience.
Participants can choose between a 5k or 10k distance, with chip timing, finisher medals, and technical event shirts provided. The race supports the charity Girls on the Run Montgomery County Maryland, which focuses on empowering youth through physical activity and life skills. A virtual race option is also available for those unable to attend in person.
