Summer Sweat 5k

The Summer Sweat 5k is an inaugural running event hosted by the West Florida Y Runners Club, taking place at Wall Springs Park in Palm Harbor, Florida. Scheduled for July 12, 2025, the event features a 5k run/walk primarily on park trails, with a course mostly on blacktop and some sections on hard sand. A 1 Mile Fun Run is also offered.

The race embraces a Fourth of July theme and includes awards for top overall male and female runners, as well as age group categories. Participants receive a commemorative T-shirt, with guaranteed sizes for early registrants. Post-race refreshments and an awards ceremony add to the festive atmosphere.
