About the race
The Summit Point Half is a scenic half-marathon event held at Summit Point Motorsports Park in West Virginia, just over the Virginia border. The race features a paved out-and-back course on the raceway with gentle elevation changes, offering distances of 5k, 10k, and half-marathon. Participants receive a finisher’s medal, technical event shirt, and chip timing.
The event supports the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue charity. Amenities include multiple water stations, onsite restrooms, and live race results with runner tracking. A virtual race option is also available.
