Sun Run: La Primera 10K Roadrace

Sun Run: La Primera is a 5K and 10K roadrace held annually at Christopher Columbus Park in Tucson, Arizona. The event features a scenic loop course along the Santa Cruz River Path with gently rolling hills, offering a refreshing alternative to typical out-and-back routes. It serves as the opening race of The Running Shop SAR Grand Prix series.

The race atmosphere is family-friendly and inclusive, highlighted by the FitKidz Mile for young runners. Participants enjoy beautiful desert views and a supportive community vibe. Awards are given in age groups, and the first 450 registrants receive a race t-shirt.
