Sunrise Stampede

The Sunrise Stampede is an annual running event held in Longmont, Colorado, celebrating its 40th year in 2025. Taking place at Fall River Elementary School, the event features a 5K race and a 1-mile fun run/walk suitable for all ages and abilities. Participants enjoy a new course that highlights beautiful open space trails, fostering a family-friendly atmosphere with community spirit.

The event includes a back-to-school kickoff, sponsor alley with games and giveaways, a school spirit challenge with prizes, and a costume contest. Proceeds support the St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation, funding teacher innovation grants in special education and mental health.
