About the race
Sunshine 5K or 1-Mile Run/Walk in Greenville, Ohio, is staged at Shelter #3 in Greenville City Park (610 East Harmon Drive). The event offers a 5K Run/Walk, a 1-Mile Run/Walk, and a Kids Fun Run - 400 meters. The scenic course winds through the park and over the swinging bridge, providing a welcoming, community atmosphere.
Registrants receive a quality T-shirt (guaranteed by Sept 10), door prizes, homemade cookies, fruit and drinks, and a swag bag; age-group awards are awarded for the 5K. Proceeds benefit several local nonprofits, including healthcare, education, and youth organizations. A shorter option available—the 1-Mile Run/Walk (no awards).
