Superheroes for Seniors 5K Run/Walk Event

Located at Lilburn City Park in Lilburn, GA, the 8th Annual Superheroes for Seniors 5K/1K Run/Walk invites the community to lace up for a good cause. The flat, fast 5K runs on the Camp Creek Greenway Trail and begins and ends in the park’s lower parking lot; the USATF-certified GA16019DJ course can serve as a Peachtree qualifier. The lineup also includes a 1K run/walk and a Veteran’s Mile.

Highlights include a superhero costume contest, goody bag, free T-shirt, giveaways, and post-race Zumba. Proceeds support Struggling Seniors and Elderly Veterans through Mending The Gap Inc. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
