Multiple water stations are provided, and the event does not use disposable cups. Water is dispensed from foot-pedal units; runners can purchase a reusable cup for $3 at packet pickup or race check-in. An early start option is offered for full marathon runners; it requires prior notification and may require runners to be self-sufficient for water during the initial portion. The full marathon has a 7-hour time limit.
Post-race provisions include one complimentary glass of beer and one plate of tacos for runners; additional food and beer tickets are available for purchase, and under-21 runners are offered a free root beer. Awards include medals for the top three overall, top three in each age group for every race distance, and top three teams. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
