Purpose and registration details
Survivor Day was designated by the U.S. Congress as a day for people affected by suicide to join together for healing and support; it is observed the Saturday before Thanksgiving. The event is organized as a memorial run and walk and will honor people who died by suicide, including one person who worked as a lifeguard for 13 years and died at age 52 from mental illness and suicide. Registrants who register by November 1, 2025 are given the opportunity to select a T-shirt size; sizes cannot be guaranteed after that date.
