Event overview
Survivor Day Trot 5k takes place on November 22, 2025, at Buffalo Wild Wings on South Bay Road in Dover, DE. The run-walk is a fundraiser for DJ’s Alliance, a volunteer-run nonprofit that provides postvention support for suicide loss survivors in Delaware. The event is held on International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day to honor loss survivors, remember loved ones, and raise awareness.

Race details
Registration fees listed include: $28.38 for the 5K and Competitive Walking 5K, $33.70 for the Virtual 5K, and free entry for the Kiddie K. Amenities include event t-shirts and post-race refreshments. A course map is provided by the organizer.
Timing is by chip using the MYLAPS BibTag Timing System. Results will be posted online during the event and complete results after the race. Awards include overall male/female and overall masters by gun time; all other age groups are scored by chip (net) time. Age-group awards are given for the top three male and female finishers in 10-year divisions from 13 & under through 70 & over. There are also awards for the top three male and female walkers. No dogs are allowed due to insurance liability, bibs are non-transferable, and registrations are non-refundable. Sponsorship levels are offered from $250 to $2,500 with listed benefits.
