The Sweat, Swat ‘n Swear trail race is scheduled for May 24, 2026, at Holder Mine Campground, 4399 Trail 10, Inverness, FL. The event offers these single-loop distances:
- 50K
- 25K
- 10 Mile
Camping at Holder Mine Campground is available through Reserve America by phone. The event does not offer refunds; registered runners can request a rollover credit worth 75% toward the following year if applied for no later than seven days before the race.
Course, aid and logistics
The course uses the A, B, and C loops of the Citrus Tract in the Withlacoochee State Forest. Trails will be marked with orange, pink, and white trail tape and occasional signs. All distances start and finish at Holder Mine Campground.
There will be a mix of full aid stations and “hydration only” stations. Hydration stations are placed roughly every five miles, while staffed aid stations with food are spaced farther apart (about eight miles between food stations). Aid station supplies include water, Roctane, soda, pickles, chips, PB&J, fruit, and ice. There are no facilities on the course, so participants must carry a handheld, waist pack, or hydration pack and pack any needed supplies. Drop-bag details and drop-bag return procedures will be provided before race day. Every finisher will receive a finisher’s award and a post-race picnic will be held at the campground.
