Swiss Valley Trail Races
The Swiss Valley Trail Races, held in Peosta, Iowa, offer three distance options: 5.2 miles, 25K, and 50K. Set within the scenic Swiss Valley Nature Preserve, the course features rugged terrain, creek crossings, and steep inclines, with each 5.2-mile loop climbing approximately 875 feet. The 25K consists of three loops, while the 50K includes six.
The event supports the Friends of Dubuque County Conservation, benefiting local parks and environmental education. Participants enjoy free camping and showers at nearby Swiss Valley Park and Campground, with shuttle service provided between parking and the start/finish area.
