T-Town Turkey Trot : November 27, 2025
The T-Town Turkey Trot is a 5K run or walk in Tazewell, Virginia, held on Thursday, November 27, 2025. The event location is 160 Main Street, Tazewell, VA 24651. There are two entry options, both priced at $25: a 5K with a guaranteed T-shirt and a 5K with a T-shirt not guaranteed. Registration for the guaranteed T-shirt option ends November 10, 2025. Registration for the other 5K option ends November 27, 2025.
Race features and awards
Participants of all ages are welcome. Furry friends on a leash and strollers are permitted. A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to the local food pantry A Child Shall Lead Them. Attendees are asked to consider bringing non-perishable food donations; an award will be given for the largest donation.
The event will present awards for Male and Female first place overall, age-group first place winners for the following groups: 0-12, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75 and up. Other recognitions include best costumes, two $25 local restaurant gift cards, fastest dog, fastest stroller, and most food donated. A course map is available via MapMyRun.
