Event overview
The Table Rock Trail Challenge is a Last One Standing looped trail race held at Clark Reservation State Park in Jamesville, NY. The event is organized by Salt City Trail Racing and is USATF-sanctioned. Runners begin each lap together on a short loop course and complete as many laps as they can before failing to meet the lap cutoff. Last One Standing awards are given to the last male and female runners remaining.
The event uses two looped courses:
- ~1.3 miles (Course A) over crushed gravel, slick table rock, dirt trails with rocks and roots, and some scrambles
- ~1.2 miles (Course B) which avoids the table rock and scramble sections
Race format, schedule notes, and policies
The race starts on Course A for the first 10 laps, then shifts to Course B beginning with Lap 11. Lap cutoff times are reduced by 30 seconds per lap on Lap 1-10 and again on Lap 11-16; Lap 17-20 uses a 12-minute lap clock. Beginning with Lap 21, the Race Director may reduce cutoffs at their discretion. Winner determination depends on the last official lap completed under the cutoff.
Registration opens November 26, 2025; prices increase after December 1, 2025 and again after January 1, 2026. Runners who register after June 4, 2026 are not guaranteed a t-shirt. The event is rain-or-shine; refunds are not granted. One-year deferrals are available for pregnancy, injury, or if a registrant volunteers and volunteer slots remain.
