Tail Chaser 5K Run/Walk

TAIL CHASER 5K RUN/WALK is an annual charity race in Monroeville, Alabama, organized by the Monroe County Humane Society to benefit the Monroe County Animal Shelter. The 3.1-mile course starts at the Monroeville Water Tower and winds through the historic downtown area by the Courthouse Museum. The route is described as flat and fast, with one water station and snacks available after the race.

T-shirts are guaranteed for participants registered by September 20, 2025. This ninth annual event combines with Saturday on the Square at the Monroe County Museum grounds for post-race activities, including awards, a blessing of the pets, a raffle, shelter donations, and a pet costume contest.
