Tarckey Trot 6 Hour - Winchester, MA

Event overview

The TARCkey Trot is a six-hour timed race held at Wright Locke Farm on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Participants run repeated loops of an approximately 5K trail course that includes rocks and rollers. Runners may complete as many or as few loops as they wish within the six-hour limit. The course is marked with flagging and signs at major intersections, and a GPX file and course maps are available for review. An aid station will be located inside the barn at the start/finish of each loop; this is a cupless event, so participants need to bring their own hydration system.

Logistics and policies

The entry fee is $35, with a $10 discount for youth 19 and under through a youth trail certification program. Online registration closes about one week before the event; there is no race-day registration. The race has a no-refund policy. The organizer offers a pregnancy deferral of up to two years with prior notice and may require proof. The event follows Leave No Trace principles. Adaptive athletes are welcome if they can run the course; tethers/guides, leg prosthetics, and crutches/braces/poles may be used with approval where indicated. Volunteers are invited for roles such as bib pickup, course directing, aid stations, and parking support. Event profits are donated to land conservation and trusts.
