The Amazing Spooktacular 5K Run & Walk
The Amazing Spooktacular 5K Run & Walk takes place in Mesquite, Texas at Town East Mall (2063 Town East Mall), organized by the MISD Education Foundation to benefit Mesquite ISD teachers and students. The event is part of Mesquite ISD’s Read.Play.Talk. Festival and offers a 5K for adults and a 5K for students.
The 5K can be chip-timed, though many participants choose to walk the course with family and friends. Participants are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes, and kids enjoy free trick-or-treating and a free Kid’s Zone at the festival, along with dozens of vendor booths, activities, and food trucks. Race packets include a T-shirt, finisher medal, sunglasses, and bib.
