Event information
The Veterans Day Freedom Run is scheduled for Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Wiggins Waterfront Park, Riverside Drive, Camden, NJ. The event offers multiple distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half-Marathon (13.1)
- Virtual run
- Family 1 Mile Fun Run
Event sponsors include Gatorade, Shop TheBestRaces, TheBestRaces Run Walk Club, KeepGoingRun, and sweet nothings.
Format, logistics and registration
The event is organized as smaller, capped waves filled on a first-come, first-served basis; a virtual option and wait list are available if waves are full. Timing is optional and there are no timing chips; participants may track times with a personal app and submit results for posting. Race bibs are provided on race day and participant swag is shipped to the US mailing address given at registration.
Swag items listed include a running T-shirt (technical shirt available as a paid upgrade), a finisher’s towel or giveaway, a finisher’s medal, a digital training pack, and an online certificate of completion. Fundraising for a chosen charity is optional; the organizer states 100% of net funds raised will go to the selected cause.
