Run DFW "Where the West Begins" takes place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 3301 Trinity Park Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76107. The event offers multiple distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 Half-marathon
- Family 1 Mile
- Virtual Run
Format and entries
The event uses capped start waves that fill on a first-come, first-serve basis; a wait list and a virtual option are available if waves sell out. Timing is optional and participants may track times themselves; no timing chips are used. Race bibs are provided on race day and participant shirts and swag are shipped to the US mailing address given at registration. Swag items include a running T-shirt, finisher medal, finisher towel or giveaway, and a digital training pack. Technical running shirts are available as a $5 upgrade. Online results and a certificate of completion are provided. After the race, each mile logged may trigger a $1 donation to a partnered charity; fundraising is optional.
