About the race
Based in Sacramento at Sutter's Landing Regional Park, The Best Races presents two events in 2025: Veterans Day Freedom Run 5K/10K/13.1 and Bed to 5K/10K/13.1 Snoozers Run. The Freedom Run offers 5K, 10K and half-marathon distances, a patriotic theme, optional fundraising with 100% net proceeds benefiting chosen charities, and a casual, stress-free environment with waves and no timing chips; timing is optional and participants can track via apps. Snoozers adds a playful twist with a comfy, pajama-friendly 5K route, awards for outfits, a pillow-soft T-shirt, snacks, and a virtual option.
