The MLK Freedom Run is an annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day run held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Riverwalk, 3rd Avenue West, Bradenton, FL. The event offers multiple distances and a family fun run. It is organized as smaller, private group waves with a cap per wave. Participants of all paces and ages are allowed; those under 18 must be with a guardian.

Logistics and amenities
Timing is optional and there are no timing chips; participants may use tracking apps or ask coordinators to record times. Waves are closed when they fill; a virtual option and wait list are available if waves sell out. Race bibs are provided on race day. Swag is shipped to the registrant's US mailing address; items include a running T‑shirt, finisher's towel or giveaway, finisher's medal, and a digital training pack. Technical shirts are available as a $5 upgrade. Online results and a certificate of completion are provided.
