The Big Turkey

The Big Turkey is an inaugural Thanksgiving Day running event held at Oak Ridge Park in Union County, New Jersey. The race offers two distances: a certified USATF 5K and a half marathon (13.1 miles), both on a mostly flat, scenic course featuring paved paths lined with birch, oak, and pine trees. Participants receive a technical shirt and finisher medal, with half marathoners also automatically registered for the 5K to join family and friends afterward.
