Canyon Climb 8K/5K/1 Mile Fun Run
The event takes place Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Anniston, Alabama, at 731 Leighton Ave. Races start and finish at the Tyler Center and run through the hills of Anniston. This event is the second race in the Anniston Runners Club Fab Four Series.

The 8K course is USATF certified. The 2026 5K is described as a less hilly option. Overall awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers in each distance. Age group awards for the 8K and 5K are given to the top three male and top three female in 10-year increments. The 1 mile fun run awards the top three male and top three female only.
Entry fees listed are $35 for the 8K and $35 for the 5K, with prices increasing after February 13, 2026 at 11:59pm CST. The 1 mile fun run entry fee is $5, with registration closing March 28, 2026 at 11:59pm CDT. Race day registration fee is $45. T-shirts are allocated by available stock. The 8K course records are 32:41.3 (male, 2025) and 38:11.2 (female, 2025); a $50 prize is offered for breaking an 8K course record, or that amount may be donated instead.
