The Canyon Climb 8K
The Canyon Climb 8K/5K/1 Mile Fun Run is a running event held in Anniston, Alabama, starting and finishing at the Tyler Center. The event features a certified 8K race known as the Robert Smith 8K, a new less hilly 5K course introduced in 2026, and a 1-mile fun run suitable for all ages. The courses traverse the scenic hills of Anniston, offering a challenging yet rewarding experience.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and in 10-year age groups for the 8K and 5K, while the fun run awards the top three male and female participants. The 8K course record holders receive a $50 prize or may donate it to charity. This race is part of the Anniston Runners Club Fab Four Series.
