The Captain's Run/Walk
The Captain's 5K Run/Walk is an inaugural event held at McCurry Park North in Fayetteville, Georgia. Scheduled for November 8, 2025, this USATF-certified 5K course is scenic, fast, and a qualifier for the Peachtree Road Race. The route features newly paved perimeter roads and a paved walking path, finishing on a slight downhill.
Organized by the Theta Lambda Lambda Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, the race supports the Thomas “T.J.” Jefferson Foundation, benefiting scholarships and cancer awareness. Participants can join in-person or virtually, with awards for various age groups and overall winners.
