The Crusher Run - Texas Quarry 5K takes place on May 31, 2026, at Martin Marietta - Texas Quarry, 430 W. Padonia Rd, Lutherville Timonium, MD 21093. The event includes these distances:
- 5K Run (Timed)
- Family Fun Run (Untimed)
- ASA 5K (for ASA athletes and wingman only)
Registration opens December 30, 2025. Price schedule: Early bird Jan 1 - Mar 31 $60; Regular Apr 1 - Apr 30 $70; Late May 1 - May 30 $80; Race day $90. Families of three or more receive $10 off per registrant. Children under age 5 are free. Race capacity for the combined 5K (timed) and Family Fun Run is limited to 600 participants.
Course, timing, logistics and awards
The runs use the top loop around the Texas Quarry on gently rolling asphalt roads with a small gravel section in the stockpile yards. The course runs along the outer edge of the quarry and does not go into the quarry. The timed 5K is chip timed by Racine Timing using disposable bib tags; bibs must be worn on the front and visible. Bicycles and pets are not allowed. Parking is at 430 W. Padonia Rd with overflow at 10000 Beaver Dam Rd and shuttle service from overflow parking. Post-race features include food trucks, rock painting, face painting, raffle, vendor booths, and an off-site after party at B.C. Brewing. Awards for the timed 5K include top overall male and female and 1st place age group winners; age groups start at 12 and under and continue by ranges up to 80+.
