The Edmonds 5K

The Edmonds 4th of July 5K is a festive running event held in Edmonds, Washington, starting at Edmonds City Park and finishing at 4th and Main. The race features a timed 5K through scenic streets of Edmonds and Woodway, culminating on the parade route where spectators cheer runners on. There is also a free, untimed 1K Family Run designed for all ages.

Participants can compete to beat "Ol’ Man Brackett," a costumed runner representing a local founder, with prizes awarded to top finishers by gender and age. The event includes a patriotic costume contest and encourages community fun alongside the Edmonds 4th of July Parade. Strollers are allowed, but pets are not.
