The Flying Frog 5K
The Flying Frog 5K is a fast, flat, USATF-certified 5K race held at Beaufort Executive Airport on Ladys Island, South Carolina. The route winds around airport hangars, along the runway, and onto a taxiway, offering a unique aviation-themed backdrop. The event coincides with South Carolina Aviation Week and dedicates a portion of proceeds to OPFOB (Our Story - OPFOB), a nonprofit supporting veterans, active-duty service members, first responders and their families.
Walkers and strollers are welcome, and medals are awarded to every finisher. T-shirts are included with advance registration. Packet pickup is arranged at the airport prior to race day, with on-site registration available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
