The Great Grape Race

The Great Grape Race is a 5K run held in Winesburg, Ohio, as part of the town’s Winesburg Reunion weekend. The race starts at Winesburg Park and offers a scenic course winding through picturesque farmland, designed for all ages—whether a serious runner, casual jogger, or family participant. Finishing rewards include granola bars, bananas, and water, plus medals for the top three male and female finishers.

All participants receive a Whitmer’s General Store ice cream cone voucher. The event culminates with the Fall Festival at Winesburg Park, and the day features food trucks, baseball games, and other festival activities.
