The Great Grape Race
The Great Grape Race is a family-friendly 5K running event held in Winesburg, Ohio, as part of the 27th Winesburg Reunion weekend. The race starts and finishes at Winesburg Park, featuring a scenic course through picturesque farmland. It welcomes runners of all ages and abilities, from dedicated athletes to casual joggers.
Participants enjoy refreshments like granola bars, bananas, and water at the finish line. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers, and all runners receive a voucher for an ice cream cone from Whitmer's General Store. The event concludes with a Fall Festival including food trucks, baseball games, and various community activities.
