Event overview
The Grinch’s 2025 Stink, Stank, Stunk 5K is scheduled for Saturday, December 20, 2025 in Murray, KY. The event is a 5K run/walk with start and finish at the CFSB Center on the Murray State University campus, located at 1401 Hwy 121 Bypass. Proceeds will support Towing for Toy's. Fundraising is encouraged but not mandatory. The 2025 race will use the same course as 2024. Restrooms will be available in lower lobby A of the CFSB Center. Registrations after Wednesday, December 10 are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
Logistics and competition
The entry price is $35; the price increases after October 30, 2025 at 11:59pm CDT. Packet pickup is available Friday, December 19 at Max’s 641 Towing, 516 S. 12th St, from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, and on race morning from 7:00am to 7:45am. Parking is available in the Murray State Football Parking Lot or the upper level parking lot at the CFSB Center. Awards will be given to age group winners in male and female divisions and to one overall male and one overall female winner. Additional awards include best dressed (costume) and highest fundraising individual. Age group categories listed include 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
